Welcome to the CRS Employers Page

Here you will find everything you need to know about the services we offer to the Employer.

SERVICES

Permanent Recruitment
We take on the time-consuming search for I.T. recruits, interview and short-list candidates and submit the best prospects to employers. The charge is a one-off fee payable on successful placements

Contract Resourcing
We supply quality sub-contractors for the employer's I.T. projects for an agreed term. The employer pays us for the work done, usually on an agreed periodic basis.

Overseas Sourcing
CRS has supplied I.T. skills from various parts of the world since our WebPages have attracted many international applications from I.T. professionals wanting to work in the Caribbean.

Third party Resourcing
CRS has partnered with various companies that are looking for I.T. resources for their own clients.

Psychometric Testing (Click here for further information)
Psychometric testing is now a fundamental part of recruitment. Even so, everyday more companies are integrating it as part of their process in getting the right people for the job. Caribbean Resourcing Solutions Ltd (CRS) is now offering you the chance to test job applicants.

Advertising Services
We advertise on behalf of the employer  for I.T. vacancies and screen all the responses. This service is particularly useful when the employer wants to keep their identity confidential but does not want to discourage applications. Job Seekers are more comfortable applying to an agency than to an anonymous company. Details on request.

Résumé Processing (Trinidad & Tobago only)
We take résumés that have been sent to the employer's company and sort them into different skill areas, e.g., I.T., executive, accounting, clerical, secretarial, etc., grade them according to closeness of fit, interview those that match your prerequisites and provide a short-list of candidates for the employer to interview. Details on request.

Other Projects
I.T. Job Fairs - CRS successfully hosted T & T's first I.T. Recruitment Fair at the Trinidad Hilton in July 1998.
Surveys - CRS has undertaken several surveys on I.T. Resources available in T & T or abroad.

Career Guidance
CRS staff have been pleased to give career guidance talks to school, university and technical students.

Retrenchment Counselling
CRS staff have presenting tips and tools to retrenched workers that will help them get employment again

FAQ'S - Frequently Asked Questions

"How do I know that you will appreciate what skills the job requires and also who will match them?"
Answer: CRS's founder and Managing Director, Susan Hale, has over 20 years experience in the I.T. industry gained mostly in the UK working for a number of prestigious companies. Susan has put together a dynamic team with experience in recruitment and human resourcing and supported by hardworking and professional administrative staff. They are all dedicated to providing a quality service and contributing to the success of CRS.

"What is this going to cost me?"
Answer:
For permanent recruitment, there is a one-off charge (details supplied on request) once a candidate has been engaged by the client.  There is a nominal administration charge once we submit suitable candidates, and this is refundable on successful placement; otherwise there is no payment until we place someone with your organization, unless there is advertising or overseas recruitment involved.

For contract recruitment, our charge is incorporated into the rate agreed for the contractor, and this is payable to CRS according to terms negotiated. We are responsible for paying the contractor as he/she is, in fact, sub-contracting to CRS.  There are no other costs unless there is advertising or overseas recruitment involved.

"But I already employ directly or have an existing agreement with another agency or consultancy company?"
Answer:
That's fine...we don't intend to upset any existing arrangements that you have, but we will be happy to tempt you with a choice of quality candidates (many do not respond to advertisements). It is up to you to choose at the end of the day.

"What if I want to recruit one of your candidates directly?"
Answer: If we introduce a candidate to you, then you may not approach him or her directly for work in any capacity for a period of 12 months after his or her last job or introduction by us to you. Otherwise, you will be obliged to pay us an appropriate fee.

"What if the person CRS placed with us leaves soon after joining?"
Answer: If the person was a permanent recruit then we will refund a proportion of the fee paid if the person leaves the job for any reason within a certain period of time. This refund is subject to certain conditions defined in our Terms of Business.

If the person was on a contract, then we will replace the person at no extra charge as soon as possible.

HOW TO USE OUR SERVICES

Simply contact us indicating your interest in using our services. You may also complete a Requirement Details form with all the details of your vacancy.  If you have not used our services before, then we will discuss our Terms of Business with you.   We encourage you to make comments and will be happy to answer your queries on this document. When you are satisfied that you want to proceed under the agreed terms, then we will arrange for both parties to sign our Terms of Business. (Once signed, there is no need to sign another one again unless our terms change). We will meet with you (if local) to define your requirements in detail. Once you have authorised us to do so, we will search our database for individuals matching your requirements, interview them, and submit short-listed résumés for your consideration.

If you are using our contract services then we will generally submit a proposal outlining how we will carry out the service, together with the rates applicable. As part of our quality service, references are always followed up on our contractors . A separate Schedule defining the scope and terms of the particular job is drawn up and signed by both parties.

Once an individual is placed, we will submit our invoice to you if it is a permanent placement. In the case of our Contract Services we will usually invoice on an agreed periodic basis as defined in the Schedule for the particular job.
